Erika Landau, MD

Erika Landau, MD was born and educated in Romania with a BA in Fine Arts. She completed her medical education and Pediatric training at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Landau also completed a research fellowship at the Rockefeller University. After serving as Director of Foster Care at The Children's Aid Society, she started her private practice in 1999. Dr. Landau is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at The Mount Sinai medical center and is on faculty at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Landau's medical interests include child abuse, violence, clinical research and chronic illness. She has lectured, as well as published articles, both nationally and internationally on these topics. Dr. Landau is also the co author of the book: "The Essential Guide to Baby's First Year" published by Penguin.

She is the proud mother of a daughter, loves to spend time with the family, cook, paint, go to the theater, ski and practice yoga.

Preeti Parikh, MD 

Dr. Preeti Parikh is a board-certified pediatrician, an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Pediatrics Department at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and an American Academy of Pediatrics spokesperson. She holds degrees from Columbia University, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and has completed post graduate training at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She serves as the Chief Medical Editor of HealthiNation, a medical expert on thebump.com, and medical contributor toMultiplicity Magazine and many other publications. Her goal is to empower both parents and children with the right knowledge and tools to achieve their optimal health. She believes being a pediatrician is a special privilege and when discussing treatment plans for illnesses and giving parenting advice she works with the family and takes into account their values and concerns. Her goal is to create a medical home that is warm and nurturing and where families feel part of the decision making.  Being a mom herself she understands that everything isn’t always by the book. She enjoys her free time with her husband and twin children.

Yael Wapinski, MD

Dr. Wapinski graduated from Cornell University in 1998 where she received her B.A. in Biological Sciences. She spent the following year in Israel as a Rotary Club Ambassadorial Scholar where she acted to promote exchange of culture and ideas between US and Israel. She started her medical training in 1999 at Sackler School of Medicine, an American program in Tel Aviv, Israel where she graduated with honors in 2003. After completing medical school, Dr. Wapinski went to Mount Sinai Medical Center for her residency training in Pediatrics. Upon completion of her residency in 2006, she stayed for an extra year as Chief Resident of Pediatrics. As Chief Resident, she was engaged in academic teaching and evidence based practice. Dr. Wapinski’s main interest lies in primary care medicine, where she enjoys building trusting relationships with patients and families and strongly believes in providing utmost quality of compassionate and comprehensive medical care to all children. She enjoys traveling, reading, and cooking, but mostly spending time with her three boys and baby girl.

Anna Duszka, MD

Dr. Anna Duszka was born and raised in Poland. She graduated from the Academy of Medicine in Wroclaw (Breslau). There she started her Pediatric residency, and upon finishing, she joined her husband in New York. After passing the Medical Licencing Examinations she once again did her Pediatric Residency in St.Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan. After finishing in 1999, she worked for several years in St.Vincent's Midtown Family health Center, serving also as a pediatric instructor to students and residents from New York Medical College. A practicing physician for more than a decade, Dr. Duszka is board certified in Pediatric Medicine. Being a pediatrician is not only her job but also her lifelong passion. She gives her patients and their parents undivided attention that should be expected in such matters. Being the mother of two boys, she understands the joys of raising children as well as the stress especially in the time of illness.

Allyson Tauber, NP

Allyson Tauber is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and the newest addition to Pediatrics of New York. She joins the practice after moving from Kansas City. She completed her undergraduate education in Neuroscience at Union College and attended Vanderbilt University for her graduate education. She trained at Boston Children's Hospital and practiced at Children's Mercy Hospital in their primary care centers prior to moving to Manhattan. Allyson has a passion for working with children with special health care needs and looks forward to meeting your family.

Tamara Hawkins MSN, NP-C 

Ms. Hawkins graduated with a BSN from NYU and a MSN from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner and has worked with mothers and babies for the past 16 years at various NYC medical centers including NYU-Langone, The Elizabeth Seton Childbearing Center, Mount Sinai and New York Presbyterian Cornell and Columbia Campuses. She has been practicing as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2004.

Tamara Hawkins is the founder and Education Director of Stork and Cradle Inc. and an Adjunct Clinical professor at the Molloy College.

Ms. Hawkins’s hours are:
Tuesday: 1.45 PM - 5.45 PM Friday: 9 AM – 5PM.
